Join a dynamic team as a Palo Alto Firewall Engineer where you'll play a crucial role in managing and configuring firewall policies as part of a technology transition to the cloud. This opportunity offers a chance to work remotely on a 6+ month contract with a focus on enhancing network security and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure firewall policies using Panorama and Tufin.
• Support IPSEC configurations and maintain Palo Alto hardware and virtual firewall platforms.
• Collaborate with IT Security to address and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Utilize ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management in network environments.
• Maintain systems and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Work closely with various departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Skills

• Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall policy management, including AppID and URL filtering.
• Experience with Panorama and global protect configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Palo Alto in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of virtual routers and routing policy using BGP.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for network management.
