We're looking for a proactive professional to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber security risks, ensuring our data and systems remain secure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth assessments to uncover potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop strategies to manage and reduce identified risks effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure robust security controls are implemented and maintained.
- Analyze security incidents to identify trends and propose improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings for senior management.
- Stay informed about the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices in cyber security and risk management.
- Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in audits and assessments related to cyber security compliance.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security risk assessment or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
