JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as an Experience Designer, where you'll craft human-centered digital experiences that are both accessible and inclusive, ensuring our customers have seamless interactions across all platforms. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging, strategic ideas that align user needs with business goals across the entire user journey.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on market trends to enhance the research and design process.
  • Ensure digital accessibility by collaborating with various teams to design and evaluate products for accessibility.
  • Create and validate accessibility user stories, evaluate prototypes, and review designs and wireframes.
  • Partner with business lines to ensure user experience meets accessibility standards.
  • Mentor team members on assistive technology and collaborate on outreach and training initiatives.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • One to three years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of semantic HTML and ARIA markup.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and experience with accessibility testing tools like JAWS or NVDA.
  • IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification.
  • Experience in user-centered design and working in cross-channel environments.
