We are looking for a talented Senior AV Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, focusing on the design, implementation, and support of enterprise audiovisual and collaboration technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-directed AV expert to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems for various corporate spaces, including conference rooms and executive boardrooms.
• Integrate and support cross-platform video interoperability using Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and PexIP gateways.
• Optimize existing HP/Poly and Barco ClickShare installations for enhanced performance.
• Utilize Vyopta to monitor and improve system performance, identifying potential issues proactively.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for AV issues, ensuring high-stakes environments remain operational.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and AV vendors to ensure timely delivery of upgrades and rollouts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams to support ongoing operations.
• Ensure all AV work complies with security, compliance, and data retention standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience in AV engineering, particularly within enterprise or financial environments.
• Proficient in deploying and managing Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and PexIP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HP/Poly video conferencing systems and Barco ClickShare technology.
• Experience with AV monitoring tools like Vyopta or similar.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across AV and networking layers.
• Ability to work independently and manage tight project timelines effectively.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AV or VC platforms such as Poly, Barco, or CTS.
• Experience with AV control systems like Crestron or Extron.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
• Basic scripting or automation skills, for example, PowerShell.
