Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to design and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of architecture patterns optimized for performance and reliability.
- Engage in serverless application development and transition from containerized applications.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software craftsmanship.
- Ensure smooth and timely transmission of critical information across the team.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of a rotation.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and .NET.
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
- Strong background in TDD and BDD, with the ability to design and write automated tests for backend applications.
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud serverless components and continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Circle CI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web service development standards.
- Experience in agile development environments using workload management tools like VersionOne/Agility.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with OpenShift and MQ.
- AWS Certification.
- Experience in developing software for the airline industry.
- Knowledge of MQ and operating systems like Windows Server and HP-UX.
