Responsibilities
- Design and develop a self-service platform for developers and engineers across various cloud environments.
- Create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and enhance existing infrastructure, recommending improvements or migrations to cloud environments.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
- Continuously optimize cloud applications for cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Lead technical teams in implementing cloud strategies and solutions.
- Document cloud architectures and deployment processes comprehensively.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in Business Analysis, System Design, Systems Engineering, or Technical Architecture, including 3 years as an Architect.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience in designing self-service platforms and migrating on-premises systems to the cloud.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAFe Agile Framework and TOGAF principles.
- Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-native and traditional databases.
- Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
