Responsibilities
- Develop and document best practices for user research and create a toolkit for seller usability studies.
- Advocate for usability best practices across various teams, not just within the design department.
- Conduct diverse user experience studies aligned with business objectives, including focus groups and usability tests.
- Design testing tasks and materials, defining clear success criteria for each study.
- Present research findings and provide actionable recommendations to enhance product development.
- Collaborate with designers to refine wireframes and mockups for improved user experiences.
Skills
- Advanced degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Technical Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
- Over 7 years of experience in user research and formal usability studies.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive usability studies and user research.
- Strong communication skills to promote user-centered design within technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage self-directed projects effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Interest in understanding users' daily needs and workflows.
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset within dynamic groups.
