JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description
Manages complex medium-to-large scale projects using advance management methodology and processes.  Leads project teams and responsible for ensuring creation of project objectives and plans to deliver quality solutions on time and in budget.  Manages the strategic and tactical aspects of large engagements and mitigates any risks; this includes reviewing and managing deliverables within and across business units, performing project reviews and ensuring project management best practices take place for all engagements. Works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective business solutions for company.

1.    Create project plans based on business case, timelines, dependencies, financial factors and resources and ensure on-time, on budget, on scope execution. 
2.    Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Agile Team's content, assist in building Agile processes
3.    As a Scrum Project Manager, you will provide regular status reports and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders (Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to optimize project delivery)
4.    Understand the roles and responsibilities of personnel within the escalation process 
5.    Provide project oversight and quality reviews, coordination of deliverable sign-off and project reporting
6.    Influences decision-making on projects; works with key stakeholders, sponsors and senior management to secure acceptance and approval of deliverables.
7.    Effectively communicate project expectations, direction, approach, priorities, events and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
8.    Understand delivery methods (e.g. waterfall, agile) and can select, modify/align that method with the needs of  the project
9.    Manage the project change process and determine the impact of project changes on the business case, and re-forecast value creation. 
10.    Provide project and supplier oversight, quality reviews, coordination of deliverable sign-off, and project reporting 
11.    Understand the business context of the project and uses knowledge to make appropriate decisions on project approach, issue and risk management, and dependency and constraint management. 
12.    Ability to communicate across business and IT stakeholders, especially when changes to project need to be communicated
13.    Conduct risk and issue planning, integrate associated outcomes into the project plan 
14.    Build and maintain an in depth knowledge of the processes, systems, and data in a defined capability/service delivery area.
15.    Understand the roles and responsibilities of personnel within the escalation process and the specific responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager in facilitating that process 
16.    Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
17.    Builds working relationships with team members, vendors and other departments involved in the projects
18.    Organize Sprint Planning meetings, which includes reviewing the Product Backlog and collaborating with the Product Owner and the Core Team to identify user stories to be included in the next Sprint
19.    Conduct Sprint Review Meetings to review the scope and functionality delivered successfully in the previous Sprint
20.    Organize Sprint Retrospectives with the Scrum Team to improve process & techniques continuously
21.    Ensure the team abides by the SCRUM rules and guidelines
22.    Hold Daily SCRUM meetings to allow the Scrum Team to synchronize their work and communicate issues and road-blocks to the Product Owner
23.    Empower the Scrum Team, and shield the Scrum Team from outside influences and distractions
24.    Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the Product Backlog. Develop process flows as needed
25.    Work effectively as part of the Scrum Team to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines

Job Requirements:

BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience 
Experience managing large-scale initiatives in a technology environment 
7+ years of project management experience 
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly desired 
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is preferred
Experience managing teams of project managers in the delivery of small to large scale projects
Experienced in managing project scopes, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders with budget and risks
Experience with generating business cases/ROI; must have experience performing technology selection and vendor management
Proven project planning and management experience
Expert level knowledge of standard PM tools (MS Azure Dev Ops, MS Project Professional, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite), including financial, and schedule performance reporting , Azure Dev Ops
Advanced proficiency in analytical, organizational, project management, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) 
Customer- and relationship-focused, process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, self-directed 
People Management & Leadership
ITIL/SCRUM methodologies are a necessity
Demonstrated success managing large complex programs/projects utilizing multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban)
Experience in developing business analysis deliverables like requirements document, As-Is and To-Be process diagrams, use cases, traceability matrix, data dictionary, business rules, meeting notes, etc.
