Responsibilities
- Administer and enhance network monitoring tools to ensure seamless operations across a global network.
- Collaborate on the migration of network monitoring telemetry, maintaining and expanding capabilities.
- Configure and monitor network devices in various facilities, including headquarters, data centers, and international locations.
- Manage tool administration, including installations, upgrades, and security updates with minimal operational impact.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and network infrastructure diagrams.
- Engage in multiple technical projects and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Skills
- Proven experience in administering network monitoring tools within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in SNMP data collection, NetFlow troubleshooting, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Linux systems, including RHEL and Ubuntu.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Event Management solutions.
- Ability to implement automation to improve technical tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Broadcom/CA Spectrum and Performance Management tools.
- Knowledge of Riverbed NetIM and NetProfiler.
- REST API scripting skills.
- CCNA and ITIL certifications.
- Background in the airline industry and Agile methodologies.
