JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to elevate your career in networking? Join us as a Sr. Network Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing enterprise-wide network systems. This role offers a unique blend of on-site and remote work, ensuring flexibility and balance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and enhance network monitoring tools to ensure seamless operations across a global network.
  • Collaborate on the migration of network monitoring telemetry, maintaining and expanding capabilities.
  • Configure and monitor network devices in various facilities, including headquarters, data centers, and international locations.
  • Manage tool administration, including installations, upgrades, and security updates with minimal operational impact.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and network infrastructure diagrams.
  • Engage in multiple technical projects and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Skills

  • Proven experience in administering network monitoring tools within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proficiency in SNMP data collection, NetFlow troubleshooting, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience with Linux systems, including RHEL and Ubuntu.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Event Management solutions.
  • Ability to implement automation to improve technical tasks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Broadcom/CA Spectrum and Performance Management tools.
  • Knowledge of Riverbed NetIM and NetProfiler.
  • REST API scripting skills.
  • CCNA and ITIL certifications.
  • Background in the airline industry and Agile methodologies.
