JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage network monitoring tools across a comprehensive enterprise environment.
  • Utilize your knowledge of network fundamentals to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage in data collection, troubleshooting, and performance management utilizing SNMP, NetFlow, and other tools.
  • Drive automation of technical tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage ServiceNow and Event Management solutions.

Skills

  • Proven experience in administering network monitoring tools within large-scale environments.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and BGP.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems such as RHEL and Ubuntu.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes through automation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Broadcom/CA Spectrum and Performance Management.
  • Familiarity with Riverbed NetIM and NetProfiler.
  • REST API scripting capabilities.
  • Certifications like Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and ITIL.
  • Background in the airline industry and Agile methodologies.
