JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing Scrum Team focused on delivering user-centric web applications and robust backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and release plans.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they reflect business value.
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage with technical teams and business leaders to elicit data requirements and insights.

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile/Scrum role.
  • Strong understanding of Angular front-end frameworks and Java-based RESTful APIs.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and version control systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in a cloud-native environment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Insurance industry experience, particularly with Disability and Life products.
