JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Principal Software Engineer, where you will lead the design and development of resilient and innovative technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape software architecture and champion best practices in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design technology solutions that ensure stability and meet operational readiness requirements.
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and support of existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide thought leadership in software engineering best practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in solution design and system architecture evolution.
  • Participate in staffing plans and provide feedback for team performance reviews.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of extensive technical experience in application development or software implementations.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in environments with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in Agile/Product Delivery models.
  • Understanding of security implications in software development.
  • Experience in the PBM or healthcare industry.
