JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a seasoned software engineer ready to take on a principal role? We are looking for a visionary leader to drive innovation and excellence in technology solutions and software architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design robust technology solutions that ensure system resiliency and operational readiness.
  • Lead ongoing development, support, and maintenance of existing systems and platforms.
  • Champion software engineering best practices and drive innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security teams to enhance system design.
  • Monitor technology solutions and communicate their health and sustainability.
  • Participate in staffing plans and provide feedback for performance reviews.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataplex.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, SnapLogic, and DataStage.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Cloud Storage and Looker Studio.
  • Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Beam, Git, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Java, Kafka Libraries, and Kafka Connect.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira.
  • Background in data warehousing and regulatory compliance requirements.
