JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Associate Business Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to make a significant impact by bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT to ensure effective communication and understanding.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to address business needs with IT-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to implement system and business processes.
  • Define system scopes and objectives, including the creation of necessary documentation.
  • Evaluate new software products for their relevance and applicability to current and future IT environments.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective communication.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements and use cases.
  • Support the documentation of UAT test cases and plans, as well as execution as needed.
  • Maintain the project’s Microsoft Teams channel for streamlined communication.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Proven experience in facilitating requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between business and IT teams.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and ensuring project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with Big 4 firms is advantageous.
  • BA Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and project management tools.
