JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to make an impact in the realm of application administration? We are seeking a dynamic Captiva Application Admin Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. Dive into a role where you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and optimization of critical business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Captiva Opentext to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Act as the liaison with Opentext, communicating organizational needs and collaborating on solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain the application to align with IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Customize the application to meet specific organizational needs, including integrations and tailored features.
  • Keep the application updated with the latest patches and releases, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for application setup, customizations, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for smooth integration with existing systems, enhancing data flow and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring resolution.
  • Conduct user training sessions to maximize application utilization and understanding of new features.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance for reliability and efficiency.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of systems, networks, and administrative functions.
  • Proficiency with server access tools like Remote Desktop and Citrix.
  • Experience in software installation, upgrading, and configuration.
  • Ability to automate processes and perform root cause analysis.
  • Capability to provide Level 2 operational support, including off-hours incident response.
  • Experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture/Captiva v23.x or greater.
  • Understanding of Captiva modules and designing capture workflows.
  • Knowledge of Captiva Advanced Recognition and related tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced development skills in C#, .Net, Rest Web services, and VB.
  • Practical experience with scripting languages like Python, .Net, C#, and Java.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and delivery tools such as GitHub.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Agile methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams.
