JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from any US time zone while contributing to exciting projects that enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Configuration Item (CI) records to identify duplicates, stale records, and inconsistencies.
  • Utilize the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) for managing CI records merging and updates.
  • Execute bulk updates and CI cleanup tasks using Transform Maps and Data Sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in CI ownership and classification.
  • Identify data gaps and recommend corrections for CI relationships.
  • Monitor CMDB health and compliance through reports and dashboards.
  • Document workflows and data validation rules for traceability.

Skills

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, focusing on CI data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB data models and class hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in using ServiceNow tools for data quality initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and drive data quality improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0) for CI relationship mapping.
  • Experience with CMDB integrations from a data reconciliation perspective.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as CMDB Micro-Certifications, are a plus.
  • Background in retail, logistics, or environments with complex CI landscapes.
