JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to bridge the gap between business and technology in a dynamic trading environment? We are seeking a talented RightAngle Techno-Functional Consultant to enhance our commodity trading operations and ensure seamless integration of the RightAngle platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with traders, schedulers, and risk managers to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
  • Design and configure RightAngle modules, focusing on deal capture, scheduling, and settlement processes.
  • Provide technical support, develop custom reports, and enhance interfaces using SQL scripting.
  • Engage in the full project lifecycle from design and testing to deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Develop and maintain custom interfaces, including APIs and data migration processes.
  • Resolve application performance issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for system integration with tools like SAP and ETRM.
  • Prepare comprehensive system documentation and training materials.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in a techno-functional role with RightAngle, preferably versions s14 or later.
  • Strong understanding of commodity trading lifecycle and business processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, data analysis, and database design.
  • Knowledge of .NET, C#, and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with RightAngle modules such as Lease Center, Trading, Risk, and Logistics.
  • Familiarity with RightAngle APIs and extensions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with RightAngle implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Energy industry certification, such as GARP ERP or PRM, is a plus.
