JOB DESCRIPTION

Join us in a dynamic role where you'll lead the support for critical applications, ensuring smooth operations and safety in utility management. This is an exciting opportunity for those who excel in technical problem-solving and have a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the support for production applications, focusing on vegetation management tools to prevent outages and wildfires.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by field workers, collaborating closely with the helpdesk and resolving tickets efficiently.
  • Utilize GIS data, write SQL queries, and develop Python scripts to support application functionality.
  • Test fixes in staging environments and implement changes in production systems.
  • Document technical processes and create user guides to support field operations.

Skills

  • Proven experience with GIS, either through 1-2 years of work or a degree in GIS.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python scripting for data management and automation tasks.
  • Strong ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and SAP for enhanced application functionality.
  • Experience with iOS and Android application development or support.
