JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Develop efficient software solutions using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Enhance and maintain both on-premise and cloud-based applications, transitioning them to AWS as needed.
  • Design and implement serverless architecture patterns and industry-standard APIs.
  • Collaborate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily standups.
  • Drive performance improvements and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation to troubleshoot and maintain production systems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, and .NET with experience in RESTful API development using Spring Boot.
  • Expertise in SQL and AWS cloud services.
  • Strong experience with version control systems like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Ability to write and design unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Experience with OpenShift and MQ.
  • AWS Certification and DevOps experience are advantageous.
  • Background in the airline industry and knowledge of Windows Server and HP-UX operating systems.
