|Job ID 70422|Posted May 27, 2025We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Tech II to join our team for an exciting contract opportunity. This role involves working on innovative Alexa devices, ensuring their performance and quality through thorough testing and validation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Define test strategies, write test plans, and execute software tests to ensure product quality.
- Conduct black box and grey box testing methodologies to validate device functionality.
- Document and report testing results, tracking issues and their resolution times.
- Engage in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software project testing.
- Proficiency in scripting, particularly in Python.
- Strong understanding of UNIX environments and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with testing Linux and/or Android-based devices.
- Familiarity with QA tool development chains and environments.
- Background in automation and scripting for test processes.
- Ability to work effectively within short release cycles.
