JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about transforming data into insightful visualizations? We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team remotely, where you'll play a crucial role in migrating BI solutions and engaging with stakeholders to drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business objectives.
  • Optimize data presentation and performance through effective design and implementation strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Present data findings and prototypes to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate in the migration and replatforming of BI tools, focusing on Spotfire to Power BI transitions.

Skills

  • Proficient in Power BI, including Power Query and DAX for data transformation and analysis.
  • Strong ability to design data models and manage Power BI Service for report publishing.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and solution design.
  • Experience in data integration and ETL processes, connecting various data sources.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Spotfire dashboards and ability to map them to Power BI equivalents.
  • Past experience in BI tool migration, with knowledge of feature/function equivalencies.
  • Understanding of SQL databases and cloud data sources.
