JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize various database systems while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Oracle SQL databases.
  • Create, configure, and optimize databases in both cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and strategic planning.
  • Implement changes in database operations with minimal downtime.
  • Provide production support and be available for on-call assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and stored procedures.
  • Lead database migrations across different platforms and types.

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in database management and development.
  • Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Oracle SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud database PaaS solutions, particularly in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
  • Familiarity with database optimization techniques and large database management.
  • Knowledge of database migration strategies from IaaS to PaaS.
