JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Java/Java EE applications to meet business requirements.
  • Utilize Spring framework technologies to build robust and scalable applications.
  • Develop Microservices and REST APIs to ensure efficient system integrations.
  • Create intuitive UI front ends using Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Implement messaging-based integrations using MQ/JMS technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members to work on API gateways and ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Engage in DevSecOps practices and contribute to CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Apply Python programming skills to enhance project outcomes.
  • Ensure systems are resilient, secure, and scalable through comprehensive testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues with advanced debugging techniques.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java/Java EE application development.
  • Experience with Spring framework and Microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API development and front-end technologies like Angular.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as MQ/JMS.
  • Understanding of API gateways and DevSecOps tools.
  • Expertise in Python development.
  • Ability to address resiliency, security, and scalability challenges.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills for performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks beyond Angular.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services.
  • Background in financial systems or similar industries.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
