Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and lifecycle management of API products, ensuring they are easy to implement, well-documented, and meet high standards.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Engage with developers to ensure APIs are user-friendly, well-documented, and adhere to RESTful concepts and JSON structures.
- Manage API developer portals and gateways, overseeing their development and ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups and planning sessions, to drive project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture, and UX, to ensure seamless integration and innovation.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose effective solutions for complex financial service systems.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with APIs, including an understanding of RESTful API concepts and JSON.
- Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with API developer portals and API gateways.
- Proven ability to manage development processes, ensuring adherence to standards and design principles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in designing APIs and familiarity with OpenAPI Specification.
- Technical writing experience to create comprehensive API documentation.
- Strong ability to communicate complex information to senior leadership effectively.
- Experience in organizing and running Hackathons.
