JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of our software products through innovative testing solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with diverse teams to drive excellence in software development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software testing solutions to ensure product quality.
  • Define and implement automation strategies for unit, functional, and performance testing.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to enhance software quality.
  • Propose process improvements and develop tools to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Contribute to agile development teams and support end-to-end quality assurance.

Skills

  • Proficiency in test automation for UI and API layers using languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python.
  • Experience with OOPs languages and scripting languages like Python, Perl, Shell.
  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
  • Experience with API and Microservices testing and automation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed agile teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and container orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and non-functional testing methods.
  • Experience with virtualizing services for test automation.
