Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage requests from U.S. Customs through the AES Portal.
- Prepare and review documentation for U.S. entries, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Customs Brokers to facilitate smooth trade processes.
- Evaluate and oversee wire transfer requests with precision.
- Maintain meticulous recordkeeping in line with government export regulations.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of five years of experience in Export Compliance within a corporate setting.
- Proficient understanding of Export Administration Regulations and OFAC regulations.
- Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to independently resolve issues and take proactive measures.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Foreign Trade is advantageous.
- Experience with ERP-based global trade management systems like SAP-GTS.
- Background in Import Brokerage is beneficial.
