Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable data solutions to meet the needs of users.
- Collaborate with product engineers to understand data pipeline requirements and create innovative solutions.
- Build and test robust components for a scalable data platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define new data products and features.
- Utilize big data technologies to process structured and unstructured data efficiently.
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Scala/Java, focusing on business logic and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in real-time stream processing using Apache Flink or Apache Spark.
- Experience with messaging infrastructures like Kafka or Pulsar.
- Strong background in data pipeline development and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to implement technical solutions and data pipelines independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality in all deliverables.
