Join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Cleveland, contributing to innovative projects and collaborating with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
- Translate manual test scripts into automated tests by analyzing business and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with software design teams to ensure test plans align with business requirements.
- Prepare and manage test data, conduct peer reviews, and participate in special projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical and operational issues in installed systems and services.
- Participate in Agile processes and maintain up-to-date work items.
Skills
- Experience with Quality Assurance methodologies and practices.
- Proficient in software development life cycle and QA functions.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with test management tools and automated test methodologies.
- Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience with programming languages and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix or virtual organization.
