Are you ready to dive into a dynamic and impactful role? We're seeking a Data Governance Analyst who can take the lead in shaping data governance strategies and drive enterprise-wide alignment in financial data management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across multiple workstreams to implement a cloud-based ERP solution, ensuring seamless data governance integration.
• Develop and enforce naming standards and conventions to create a unified language for data description.
• Identify and address gaps in Master Data Management, particularly for Vendor and Product information.
• Establish enterprise product definitions and standardize financial metrics across the organization.
• Define and catalog new marketplace attributes while ensuring data quality checks and remediation processes are in place.
• Enhance visibility into data lineage, sourcing, and transformation processes.
• Align enterprise domain attributes to maintain consistency with enterprise standards and definitions.
• Facilitate the classification of data attributes to support enterprise data governance initiatives.

Skills

• Proven experience in data governance within the finance sector.
• Ability to work independently and embed oneself into projects with minimal direction.
• Strong interpersonal skills to advocate for data governance and demonstrate its value.
• Capability to integrate work into Enterprise Data Governance tools and promote their usage.
• Holistic understanding of complex data landscapes to ensure alignment and standardization.

Preferred Skills

• Technical understanding and aptitude related to data systems and governance tools.
• Experience in identifying Data Owners/Data Stewards and establishing working committees.
