JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in crafting and executing innovative test plans to ensure top-notch software quality. This remote position offers a collaborative environment to work on diverse projects using the latest testing tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate comprehensive test plans and cases for both frontend and backend applications.
  • Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment to enhance multiple client project applications.
  • Ensure thorough test coverage through functional, end-to-end, and integration tests.
  • Utilize development skills in languages like Java, .Net/C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript for automation testing.
  • Implement API automation testing using Java or .Net/C#.

Skills

  • Proficiency in creating test plans and automation scripts.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Protractor, Playwright, and JMeter.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, MSTest, TestNG, Mocha, or Jasmine & Karma.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of TFS and/or Azure DevOps for creating build and release pipeline automation.
  • Experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and performance testing.
  • Knowledge of mock testing frameworks and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) practices.
  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) credential is a plus.
