JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Data Engineer where you will play a crucial role in shaping our data infrastructure, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our data architecture to enhance engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to gather and translate business and functional requirements into a scalable data infrastructure.
  • Develop mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating operational data for business intelligence solutions.
  • Analyze vast data sources to provide recommendations for solving business challenges.
  • Ensure data reliability by investigating and addressing data anomalies.
  • Optimize data query performance and manage ETL processes.
  • Adopt best practices in data reporting and analysis to maintain high standards.

Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, and Lambda.
  • Experience with a modern scripting or programming language like Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, and IAM roles.
