JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our team and lead the development of an innovative API Marketplace Platform. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that will have a significant impact on our internal API ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and secure architecture for the API Marketplace platform, ensuring it meets evolving business and technical needs.
  • Identify technical work required to deliver architecture and partner with the product team to create epics and features.
  • Provide guidance on best practices in API Platform Development and API governance standards.
  • Oversee the configuration, extension, and integration of the front-end solution with the existing Apigee API platform.
  • Partner with engineering teams and business stakeholders to align the API platform with broader enterprise initiatives.
  • Define and enforce development standards, security protocols, and architectural best practices.
  • Ensure the API platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support development teams in leveraging technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and governance models.

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or enterprise data governance.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, API Governance, and API platform development.
  • Advanced experience with cloud architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Apigee and Backstage.io.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
