JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Sr. Back End Mulesoft Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and supporting solutions for our Member Portal/API Development team, focusing on building solutions to support our business domains around Member, Provider, and Broker portal solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define, analyze, and review business, system, and technical requirements, and prioritize tasks.
  • Write clean, testable code using Java or Mulesoft to build APIs.
  • Deploy code to multiple test environments using tools such as Azure Dev Ops or GitHub.
  • Document development and operational procedures, including implementing monitoring solutions.
  • Leverage industry standards and best practices for software development.
  • Facilitate code reviews, unit testing, peer reviews, and partner with QA to document test criteria.

Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge and skill in professional field, with the ability to function as a subject matter expert across multiple technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond the degree.
  • Five years of experience as a Java developer.
  • API development experience using Mulesoft and/or Java.
  • Experience in building highly performant APIs.
  • Familiarity with agile environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and good communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end-to-end application building.
  • In-depth knowledge of writing complex SQL queries for Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Work experience with open-source technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS.
  • Proficiency in building back-end solutions to support web-based and/or mobile applications.
