JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a 100% remote opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity software for email and file sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy Microsoft Office add-ins that integrate with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office JavaScript API to build robust and secure add-in functionality.
  • Ensure the add-in adheres to best practices in performance, security, and user experience.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver an intuitive and efficient user interface.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to the Office add-in, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Office development frameworks, APIs, and security protocols.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details for internal and external use.
  • Provide support and maintenance post-deployment, including handling updates and feature enhancements.

Skills

  • Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript development outside of the browser.
  • Experience interfacing with backend services using RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of basic cryptographic primitives, or a drive to learn them.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office API.
