JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a dedicated Product Configuration Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the Actuarial department's Product Configuration team, which is responsible for the successful implementation of complex calculations in our policy administration system.

As a Product Configuration Analyst, you will collaborate closely with both business and IT teams to design, build, test, implement, and maintain critical processes within the ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) system related to the configuration of insurance/annuity products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of complex insurance and annuity product features and requirements
- Translate product specifications into ALIP system design, rules, and logic, ensuring best practices and standards are met
- Solve complex problems, considering required business functionality, sustainability, and scalability of solutions
- Review implementation solutions with key stakeholders
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues as they arise in lower and production environments
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on system functionality
- Regularly assess and develop process improvements within and surrounding the applicable systems
- Develop product expertise for all lines of business
- Work within an Agile environment focused on product delivery
- Communicate effectively with various teams, 3rd party vendors, and team members to improve turnaround time and efficiency

Additional Information:
- Understanding of Life and Annuities product rules and business processes is required
- Life and Annuities product development experience with a Policy Administration System; ALIP Product Configuration is preferable
- Understanding of SQL database and ability to write simple queries
- Advocate of Agile practices and culture
- A four-year degree in a technical discipline, engineering, business, Actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or related field; or equivalent experience is required
- Technology, business, and project certifications are preferred
