JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of next-generation cardiac ablation products, contributing to the advancement of heart and vascular disease treatments.

As a UX Designer, you will:
- Provide subject-matter expertise and direction on leveraging new user interaction technologies
- Participate in exploratory design research to identify user needs and opportunities
- Create experience journeys maps, storyboards, wireframes, and other UX design deliverables
- Translate user needs to product design concepts and usability requirements
- Lead creative concept processes and contribute to the creation, prioritization, and selection of alternative concepts
- Create UI designs for embedded and web software systems
- Develop prototypes to explore and validate product design concepts
- Participate in usability testing, documenting findings and making design recommendations

The ideal candidate will have:
- An M.S degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant user-interface design experience in commercial product development
- Strong experience in interaction design, utilizing wire framing, and rapid prototyping
- Experience in information architecture for software design, including embedded software
- Strong conceptualization ability and strong visual communication ability
- Experience with UX analyses methods and deliverables, to structure user research insights
- In-depth knowledge of design and prototyping tools, e.g., Photoshop, Adobe XD, InDesign, Sketch, InVision
- Strong creative problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications include expertise in planning, conducting, analyzing, and reporting design research and usability testing, experience in medical device development, and the ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, keep organized, and multitask.
