Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their team in Scarborough, Maine. This is a contingent position with a 3-month contract duration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a subcomponent of a project and assisting the Program Manager. This role requires onsite presence and the candidate must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate input from multiple areas with assistance from the manager
- Develop timelines, milestones, and preliminary implementation plans
- Propose contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events
- Translate project goals into project tasks and define the nature of the stated business or technical problem
- Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed
- Negotiate schedules, milestones, and resource requirements to meet project outcomes
- May function as the project contact with third-party vendors
- Lead others in the completion of project tasks and assist in the decision-making process

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project
- Minimum 1 year of experience to understand systems and procedures
- Limited project management experience, with demonstrated leadership skills on portions of a project or other activities

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with other disciplines, customers, internal clients, and project staff. They will also be able to adjust their presentation style and content to suit the audience. This role requires a candidate who can create a work environment that supports team effectiveness and is committed to following quality/regulatory requirements.
