Looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a 4 month contract to hire project. This position will sit onsite in Ohio. 

 Job Description: 

• Design, code, and test systems with a long-term mindset of maintainability and ultimately serving the needs of the end-user.
• Adhere to technical standards and participate in standards evolution.
• Understand the importance of teamwork and coordinated activities.
• Demonstrate effective communications skills with team members.
• Working knowledge of analytical thinking concepts and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud provider
• Working knowledge of command-line tools in Cloud and Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of Hashicorp Terraform and GitLab a big plus, or at least familiar with similar Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies
• Strong understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and configuration management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate cross functional meetings to accomplish objectives or resolve issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines and ensure others meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Basic understanding of at least one development language (i.e., Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, .NET, etc.) and integrating multiple tools through their APIs, command line interfaces, etc. and the ability to identify basic programming constructs in unfamiliar languages.
