- Design, develop, and implement new application components and/or complete applications
- Evaluate, design, and implement complex modifications to existing applications to accommodate changes in user requirements or hardware/software infrastructure
- Collaborate with Project Management, Business and Systems Analysts, and leadership to recommend specifications for system enhancements for continuous functional improvement
- Oversee and refine application components for performance enhancement
- Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base
- Maintain a robust understanding of business processes and needs to deliver accurate solutions
- Develop, maintain, and enhance high-quality software code in accordance with established organization standards and development guidelines
- Review, perform testing, and provide feedback on the work of Application Developers
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java Development, with hands-on experience in AWS Development, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, API Gateway, ECR, NodeJS, Terraform, and Lambda serverless. Proficiency in Typescript and Agile methodologies is essential. Experience with other AWS Services (i.e., RDS, ECS), Containerization, GitLab, Angular v16+, Python, and Cypress is desired.
