- Spearheading the creation of design libraries and web components using CSS (LESS and/or SASS), React, JavaScript, and Typescript.
- Utilizing advanced CSS skills to effectively structure and style components.
- Transitioning design libraries to Figma and integrating them into code.
- Conducting and leading code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Communicating effectively with team members and non-technical stakeholders.
- Taking charge of projects, mentoring less experienced team members, and ensuring successful delivery of key milestones.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with CSS, including advanced knowledge of LESS, SASS, and modern front-end development tools.
- Proven experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, particularly React and TypeScript.
- Experience with design systems and component builds.
- Proficiency with Figma and experience transitioning design libraries to code.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern code editors (e.g., VSCode).
- Experience with Node.js, Cypress, HighCharts, and Jenkins is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and improve performance, reliability, and resource consumption.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience migrating from LESS to SASS and working with CSS preprocessors.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, specifically Jenkins.
