Our client is seeking a seasoned Operations Engineer Executive with a focus on Disaster Recovery. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the flexibility of a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will join our client's team, contributing to the creation of a resilient environment through proactive TRR testing and selective stress testing of HA designs.



Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and evaluate Disaster Recovery methodologies for use with specific business application environments.

- Define, execute, measure, and report on DR exercising and proactive resiliency testing.

- Understand technical design and architecture to provide opportunities for automation and resiliency where applicable.

- Script for automation using Python/Powershell and other automation tools.

- Lead the DR planning and exercising sessions with application & Infrastructure teams.



The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Cloud-based offerings (AWS, Azure), physical and virtual infrastructure, and various hosting vendors and third-party solutions.
