Our client is seeking a passionate Back End Developer IV to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the rebuilding of systems critical to maintaining customer relationships, using a modern Java tech stack. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who thrives on writing code, building, and iterating quickly.



Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute proactively to building a positive team culture

- Develop Java web applications

- Implement event-driven and message-driven designs

- Utilize various persistence tools such as SQL, no-SQL, Redis, etc.

- Build scalable applications, ensuring optimal performance



The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the above areas. While pair programming will not dominate your time, it is an essential skill to leverage when the work demands. Being a positive team player is absolutely critical to success in this role.



Preferred Skills:

- Dev Ops / AWS infrastructure knowledge

- High comfort level with Unix/Linux command line

- React Web



The interview process will include a technical challenge to be completed and submitted ahead of the interview, followed by two interviews focusing on technical skills and cultural fit.



Our client offers flexible work arrangements, with a preference for hybrid work (1 day a week onsite). However, remote work is acceptable for an exceptional candidate.
