Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and define requirements for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functionality to support manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate MES with other enterprise systems such as SAP, CVT, and Run Test.
  • Design and implement MES solutions, including workflows, user interfaces, and system configurations.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure MES solutions meet functional requirements and performance standards.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for MES-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Deliver training and documentation to end-users on MES features and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for MES functionality.
  • Manage MES software updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the manufacturing team and IT to communicate system needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to manufacturing systems and data integrity.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support broader operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of MES technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in MES software implementation and support, including system configuration, integration, and testing
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
  • Experience with MES applications such as Koerber (High Jump)
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems integration with MES
  • Proficiency in SQL/SSRS and experience with database management systems
  • Ability to develop and analyze functional specifications and system design specifications
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networking, and security as it relates to MES deployment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for project implementation and support
  • Ability to train users and develop training materials
  • Experience with reporting tools and creating dashboards for KPIs and metrics
