Horizontal Talent is helping a collaborative company recruit a skilled Data Analysis Analyst to join their collaborative team in Minneapolis. This contract Data Analysis role offers a compelling pay rate.

The Data Analyst will work in data analysis, data cleaning, requirements gathering, and analysis. You can also expect to partner with the business line, determine the use case, develop a dataset in SQL, perform analysis in PowerBI, and present results/insights to a business line.

  • Analysis and ongoing support of internally developed processes to support business initiatives
  • Automation of processes using existing tool sets, including Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Excel Services, Performance Point, and PowerPivot)
  • Analysis and query writing to assist in supporting key business initiatives

We are looking for a Data Analyst with the ability to write transact-sql code to extract correct data to answer business questions and SQL Development experience. Additional qualifications include:

  • SQL 3-4 years
  • Power BI 2-3 years
  • Analytics 3-4 years
  • Extensive experience with creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Ability to visualize data into a form that effectively answers the business question
