Do you have data analysis experience, and are you seeking a new job in Minneapolis? Horizontal Talent is looking for a Jr. Data Analyst, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive hourly rate.


As a Jr. Data Analyst, you will review asset protection alerts, identify prolific theft and fraud suspects, and create SQL queries that assist in identifying data tied to existing cases or have similarities to existing ones.


If you were already in this Data Analyst role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Create secure video and other evidence to present cases to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies
  • Work closely with other analyst, corporate, and field investigators
  • Work with retail asset protection to create and execute strategies to reduce future loss.


To apply for this Jr. Data Analyst role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced SQL query writing capabilities and 2-3 years of experience in exception reporting
  • Experience in video surveillance system operation (Genetec preferred).
