As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for software applications. You'll collaborate with various teams, including development, IT, and customer support, to resolve application-related problems and enhance the user experience.
During your first few weeks in this Application Support Engineer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:
- Respond to and resolve application-related issues reported by users
- Track, prioritize, and document incidents using a ticketing system
- Provide timely updates to users and stakeholders on the status of issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application problems, including software bugs, performance issues, and configuration errors
- Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and workarounds
