JOB DESCRIPTION

Horizontal Talent has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Senior Desktop/Tech Support to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time technical support role is based in Madison and offers an attractive hourly rate.


As a Senior Desktop/Tech Support, you will provide hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers. You will also configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing equipment and software.


In your first few weeks in this network engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Set up and maintain network and telecommunication systems
  • Troubleshoots LAN, server, and connectivity issues
  • Utilise the ticketing system, when necessary
  • Re-image computers perform data migrations and restorations and conducts remote problem-solving as needed.

  • A working knowledge of hardware components and hardware configurations
  • Software experience
  • Extensive experience planning and accomplishing tasks
