About the Opportunity

Our rapidly growing Digital Solutions team is searching for a talented Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of our next-generation products. In this highly collaborative role, you'll wear many hats - leading a team of software engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge healthcare solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Own the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and scoping to production, testing, and delivery.
  • Lead a high-performing team in building and deploying cloud-based applications using Azure, .NET Core, C#, Python, and other supporting languages.
  • Champion innovation while ensuring compliance with data privacy and medical device regulations.
  • Establish and maintain consistent development methodologies, tools, and documentation to streamline processes.
  • Partner with peers to keep software products, tools, and systems secure, patched, and monitored.
  • Build a strong, engaged team that fosters culture and values.
  • Contribute to system, software, planning, security, and risk management documentation, adhering to high-quality standards.

Who You Are

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Possess 6+ years of software development experience, including expertise in .NET, C#, and/or Python.
  • Have a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing software development teams (5+ years).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excel in written and verbal communication, effectively conveying technical information to diverse audiences.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cloud development in Azure or AWS, including microservices architecture, IoT, etc.
  • Familiarity with current cybersecurity best practices for cloud-based systems and secure device communication protocols.
  • Understanding of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) regulations and latest Digital Health software development standards.
  • Hold an advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
