Job Description:
  • Tradeshow and Events Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Coordinating and overseeing the marketing, planning and logistics of trade shows.
  • Assisting marketing in determining which trade shows are strategically critical, each trade show’s focus, and who should be in attendance at the show.
  • Producing trade shows to ensure consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes, procedures and tools. Providing direction and guidance and offering solutions where appropriate.
  • Executing, supporting tradeshows and events
  • Provide regular updates to keep all stakeholders abreast of upcoming events and deadlines.
  • Work with Planning Team to develop event-oriented pre-show promotions to encourage attendee engagement.
  • Create pre-show briefing documents and run pre-show planning meetings.
  • Run pre-conference meeting and daily debrief meetings on-site.
  • Evaluate and manage current and future booth requirements such as booth size, design and graphics.
  • Manage and coordinate the logistics of the exhibit property including maintenance of the trade show exhibit, demonstration equipment and all accessories.
  • Conduct and communicate post-show analysis, including metrics.
  • May assist in developing tracking and measurement tools and processes.
  • Work with appropriate internal departments to ensure leads are distributed and followed up in a timely manner, monitor leads to close.
  • Recognize opportunities to sponsor conference sessions that align with marketing goals.
  • Identify and investigate new trade show marketing opportunities based on company priorities and goals.
  • BS in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field; or a combination of related education and experience.
  • 6+ years in sales and trade show experience including project management within the marketing arena
  • Understand production requirements and timelines of trade show production.
  • Ability to act quickly and decisively with solutions to unexpected issues.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, focus, prioritization skills and ability to handle multiple demands.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and in a fast-moving environment while meeting deadlines
  • Flexible, self-motivated, organized, and confident.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with Eloqua and SalesForce.com
  • Up to 20% travel
  • Worker is self directed, brings a special skill and knowledge to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
  • Worker proposes, plans, produces and measures integrated communication project and campaigns that support functional marketing/business plans, organizational plans and Client reputation and brand strategy.
  • Manages resources allocated to project by supervisor and clients.
  • Provides training, and assistance to co-workers, team members, work groups and suppliers.
  • Must apply advanced knowledge of communication processes and technologies and is able to identify and recommend new technologies/processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The employee primarily uses influencing skills, writing, and presentation/speaking skills to lead, develop and execute multiple communication projects, manage project budgets, interpret and apply policies, or analyze data to make strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Also required are administrative, leadership, and short-term planning skills.
