Description:
  • Support clinical use of Nextgen Electronic Health Records and related software through problem resolution and helpdesk ticket support, training of staff on software updates, workflow changes, process improvements, and other enhancements.
Ideal Background:
  • Healthcare environments, software proficient, specifically Nextgen Electronic Health Records, some Medical Assistant or similar clinical experience, experience supporting Doctors and their staff
Team and Team size:
  •  Team of 2 Nextgen Analysts and 1 Nextgen Application Trainer
Top Responsibilities:
  • Nextgen Electronic Health Records software support on practice specific workflows and new software releases.
  • Maintain and update user job aid documentation library.
  • Upgrade and patch testing and implementation/go-live support onsite.
  • End user support over phone, chat, and email.
  • Helpdesk ticket troubleshooting and resolution.
Skills/attributes Required
  • Nextgen Electronic Health Records support - 3 years,
  • Clinical/Healthcare experience - 3 years,
  • Microsoft Office - 2 years,
  • IT Helpdesk ticketing systems - 1 year
Skills/attributes Preferred
  • Nextgen NCP Certification, 2 year college/technical, calm under pressure, fast learner, pleasant demeanor, team player, self-motivated, well spoken, clear communicator both written and verbally.
